A good time was had by all

Thanks to everyone who came to the artist's reception for the Cafe d'Art show at Gunnison Arts Center on Thursday. A good time was had by all, and especially by art critic Oliver, who was particularly fond of the cheese and crackers and the live music provided by John Elm. Nice job, Laura.

Cafe d'Art

Come check out Cafe d'Art at the Gunnison Arts Center, showing now through December 24 in the main gallery. This invitational show was put together by ceramacist and painter Laura Cooper Elm and features work that is for, about, or an enhancement to dining. I have made a piece for the show entitled Coffee Bean. It's a small table equally well suited to having coffee with a friend or working on your laptop.

The artists reception is Thursday, December 11, from 5 - 7 pm. Snacks and beverages will be served. I hope to see you there.
